West Virginia Cabins

Yes, most cabins are located at least 400 feet from the North Fork River. Cabin #19 is located ¼ mile from the river.

Each log cabin has access to high speed Wi-Fi for streaming netflix, ESPN or your instagram video.    Resort Wi-FI:  A campus wide Wi-FI provides you access to stream live video of your experience or be contacted almost anywhere within site of your cabin.  If you want to call from the stream side, cabin deck or hot tub Wi-FI calling is available.  Remote Work:   If you choose to work remotely, we can provide higher WI FI Speeds.  We do have Wi-Fi access points on the main deck, the bridge, and pavillions overlooking the North Fork River. All access points are open to all log cabin guests.   Because of our new provider and campus wide solution, we can guarantee your access as long at the provider’s internet connection is available. Basic Fee(8MB):  $8.00/day

Each log cabin has A/C and ceiling fans to cool the cabin.

Each cabin has a heat pump or PTAC and a gas fireplace. Some of our cabins have electric heat as well.

Our only pet-friendly log cabin is #19. Guests may bring up to two pets to this log cabin. Pets are not allowed at the main log cabin resort in Hopeville Canyon or log cabin #17.

Each cabin provides the following: towels, washcloths, bed linens, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, stainless steel pots, pans, a coffee pot, and cooking utensils for use in the cabin.

All one-bedroom cabins include an indoor Jacuzzi tub as well as cabin #2 and 7.   All cabins include a private outdoor hot tub. 

All indoor Jacuzzis are similar to large bathtubs with jets. Water must be filled each time it is used and the temperature.  We have installed automatic hot water heaters, so you can fill the Jacuzzi without worrying about the hot water heater’s capacity. An outdoor hot tub is filled with water at all times. The water is treated with chemicals like a swimming pool and has a heater to consistently heat the water.  Our hot tubs are monitored by trained staff before each check-in and after each check-out.

Near many outdoor adventures: Spring, Summer and Fall Adventure:  Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, North Fork Mountain, plus ziplining and rock climbing and caving.  Winter Adventure:  Snow skiing, cross country skiing snow tubing, snow sledding at Canaan Valley, Timberline,  

Smoking is not permitted in the cabins.

Limited housekeeping services may be provided at no additional charge. The request must be made at the office.
