Use the text directions below from various starting points surrounding our location.

From Washington, DC / Northern, VA:
Take I-66 West to I-81 South. You will be on I-81 South a very short time.  Take Exit #296 (Strasburg, VA). Off Exit #296 take Rt. 55 West towards Wardensville, WV.  Follow Rt. 55 West through Wardensville, (just outside of Wardensville Rt 55 will turn into a 4 lane).  Then you will need to get off the Moorefield exit (IMPORTANT) to remain on Rt. 55W, In Moorefield, you will turn left at the light and continue on Rt. 55W to Petersburg, WV. Harmans North Fork Cottages is located 10 miles south of Petersburg on Rt. 55W and will be located on your left. From North/East Baltimore, MD:
Take I-70 West to I-81 South (Hancock, MD).  Take I-81 South to Exit #296 (Strasburg, VA).  Off Exit #296 take Rt. 55 West towards Wardensville, WV.  Follow Rt. 55 West through Wardensville, (just outside of Wardensville Rt. 55 will turn into a 4 lane).  Then you will need to get off the Moorefield exit (IMPORTANT) to remain on Rt. 55W, In Moorefield, you will turn left at the light and continue on Rt. 55W to Petersburg, WV. From North/East of I-81:

From South/East of I-81:

Scenic route across the Shenendoah Mountains:
Take I-81 North to Harrisonburg, VA. Exit on Rt. 33 West through Harrisonburg, VA, into West Virginia through Brandywine & Franklin, WV to Seneca Rocks on Rt. 33 West. At Seneca Rocks come to a 3 way stop take Right onto Rt.55 East 12 miles to Harmans North Fork Cottages.  If you are a lodging guest and arriving after hours, please call for more detailed instructions to your unit.

Easier and only a 10 minute difference in drive:
Take I-81 North to exit 257 (Broadway/Mauzy Exit) Turn left off exit and then a right onto Rt. 259 into Broadway, VA.  Continue on Rt. 259 West into West Virginia all the way to Baker.  At the stop sign in Baker turn right.  Drive 1/2 mile and turn left on Rt. 55 W (4 lane) You will then need to get off the Moorefield exit to remain on Rt. 55W, In Moorefield, you will turn left at the light and continue on Rt. 55W to Petersburg, WV. From North/West I-79, Clarksburg, Fairmont, Morgantown, & Pittsburgh, Pa:
Take I-79 South to Exit #99 (Weston, WV). Off Exit #99 take Rt. 33 East to Elkins, WV. Be sure to get off interstate Rt. 33 East at Elkins (IMPORTANT). Off interstate still on Rt. 33 East (now 2 lane) through Elkins, across mountains through Harman to Seneca Rocks. At Seneca Rocks you will come to a stop sign, turn left onto Rt. 55 East.  Drive 12 miles and Harmans North Fork Cottages will be a log structure on your left.  If you are a lodging guest and arriving after hours, please call for more detailed instructions to your unit.

From South/East I-79, Charleston, WV:
Take I-79 North to Exit #99 (Weston, WV). Off Exit #99 take Rt. 33 East to Elkins, WV. Be sure to get off interstate Rt. 33 East at Elkins (IMPORTANT). Off interstate still on Rt. 33 East (now 2 lane) through Elkins, across mountains through Harman to Seneca Rocks. At Seneca Rocks you will come to a stop sign, turn left onto Rt. 55 East.  Drive 12 miles and Harmans North Fork Cottages will be a log structure on your left.  If you are a lodging guest and arriving after hours, please call for more detailed instructions to your unit.

From I-64, Beckley, WV area:
At the Lewisburg Exit take Rt. 219 North to 39 East to Rt. 28 North. Follow Rt. 28 North through several little small towns to Seneca Rocks. At Seneca Rocks come to a stop sign.  Take a right onto Rt.55 East.  Drive 12 miles to Harmans North Fork Cottages.  We will be a log structure on your left.  If you are a lodging guest and arriving after hours, please call for more detailed instructions to your unit.

From I-68, Cumberland, MD:
Take Rt. 220 South through Keyser, WV until it intersects with Rt. 50 at New Creek. Continue on Rt. 50 West (2 miles) until it intersects with Rt. 93 West.  Turn Left on Rt. 93 West (10 miles). Turn left onto Rt. 48 to access Corridor H.  Turn right to get on Corridor H and drive 9 miles to exit “Patterson Creek Road” exit.  Turn Right onto Patterson Creek Road for 6 miles.  Turn left onto Rt. 42 South to Petersburg, WV. From Winchester, VA area:
Take Rt. 50 West to just past Gore, VA. At junction take Rt. 259 South through Wardensville, WV. Outside Wardensville, WV you will get onto Rt. 55 West (4 Lane) You will then need to get off the  Moorefield exit (IMPORTANT) to remain on Rt. 55W, In Moorefield, you will turn left at the light and continue on Rt 55W to Petersburg, WV. In Petersburg, make a right at stop light and continue 10 miles on Rt. 55 West to Harmans North Fork Cottages and will be located on your left.  If you are a lodging guest and arriving after hours, please call for more detailed instructions to your unit.

From Parkersburg, WV area or Marietta, OH area:
Take Rt. 50 East to Clarksburg, WV. At Clarksburg take I-79 South to Exit #99 (Weston, WV). Off Exit #99 take Rt. 33 East to Elkins, WV. Be sure to get off the exit for Elkins (IMPORTANT) to remain on Rt. 33 East to Elkins. Off the exit you will still be on Rt. 33 East (now 2 lane) through Elkins, across the mountains through Harman to Seneca Rocks. From Wheeling, WV and Northern Ohio areas:
Take I-70 East to I-79 South to Exit #99 (Weston, WV). Off Exit #99 take Rt. 33 East to Elkins, WV. Be sure to get off the exit for Elkins (IMPORTANT) to remain on Rt. 33 East to Elkins. From Johnstown & Somerset, Pa or Friendsville, MD areas:
Take Rt. 219 South through Deep Creek & Oakland, MD until it intersects with Rt. 50 East. Take Rt. 50 East through Gormania to Mount Storm. At Mount Storm take Rt. 42 South to Petersburg, WV.
